St. Francis-based Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors and technologies for the food and beverage industry, has named Megan Nelson purchasing manager.
In this role, Nelson will oversee the management and execution of Wixon’s Supply Chain Procurement Group.
Prior to joining Wixon, Nelson accumulated over 15 years of direct materials management experience with recognized food manufacturers and distributors such as Schwan Foods, Cadbury/Kraft, Agrana USA, and Vistar-Multifoods.
In addition, she has an extensive materials systems background having directly lead several successful SAP material module integrations as well as those for demand planning, production planning, logistics and warehouse management.
Nelson, who has recently re-located from Houston, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a degree in psychology.
