Notable Litigators and Trial Attorneys: Timothy Trecek

Class of 2023

As vice president and chief operations officer for Milwaukee-based Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Timothy Trecek’s successes are the result of his personal touch with clients and juries, and dedication to justice for victims harmed by negligent actors, according to colleagues.

“His work ethic is legendary,” said Laurence Fehring, managing shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier. “Whether it’s taking depositions of Korean witnesses at 3 a.m. in the record setting Vanderventer case or examining thousands of pages of testimony to properly cross examine an expert witness.”

Trecek is highly respected by judges, his peers in the legal community and students at Marquette University Law School, where he teaches as an adjunct professor.

“He goes out of his way to mentor those students and young lawyers long after his grades have been turned in for the semester. Outside the courtroom and office, he volunteers at his parish and supports Make -A-Wish Wisconsin with both time and treasure,” Fehring said.
