Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha, has hired Kevin O’Connor as mortgage consultant.

Helvey, Waukesha State Bank vice president – mortgage lending manager. “He is an experienced mortgage lending professional with a natural ability to help borrowers navigate the complex process of buying, building or refinancing a new home.”
O’Connor has 34 years of real estate and finance experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to joining Waukesha State Bank, he served as a loan officer with The Equitable Bank. He specializes in new home construction and working with first time home buyers and investors.
In his new role as mortgage consultant, O’Connor will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, which includes meeting with prospects, taking mortgage applications, counseling borrowers and developing relationships with Realtors, builders, financial service providers and various community groups.
