Waukesha State Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Keith Shepard to assistant vice president – bank manager.
In his new position, Shepard will continue to be responsible for all aspects of daily E. Main Street office operations, including business development, personnel management, customer service, lending, relationship management and community service.
Keith Shepard joined Waukesha State Bank in 2005 as a part-time employee serving in a number of roles while attending college. After earning his bachelor’s degree in 2008 in geography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Shepard began his full-time banking career as a floating teller. Over the years, he has taken on increasing roles and responsibilities including customer service representative, assistant teller supervisor, personal banker, and teller supervisor before being promoted to bank manager of the Silvernail Road office in 2011. He transitioned to bank manager of the E. Moreland Blvd. office in 2012 and moved to bank manager of the E. Main Street office in 2015 when the E. Moreland Blvd. office closed. Shepard is active in the Waukesha community as a member of the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s Young Professionals Committee and as a volunteer with Make a Difference-Wisconsin.
