DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., Madison, and its affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., announced John Gardner, a shareholder from its Madison office, was named chair of its labor and employment relations group.
Gardner succeeds shareholder Scott Paler, who chaired the group since 2014. Of DeWitt’s nearly 140 attorneys, 23 focus their practices in the area of labor and employment Law. They serve thousands of clients ranging from multinational corporations to family-owned businesses.
“John Gardner’s in-depth knowledge of the Labor & Employment relations arena, and our firm, make him a natural candidate to succeed Scott Paler, whose contributions in the role helped grow the practice group during the past four years,” said Bradley C. Fulton, president and managing partner of the firm.
Gardner’s experience includes helping employers of all shapes and sizes deal with a wide assortment of employment-related legal issues. For nearly 15 years, Gardner has defended employers in state and federal courts across the United States.
