U.S. Cellular has named Jared Blecha as director of sales, corporate owned channel for Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
Blecha has worked at U.S. Cellular for more than 10 years and has held several roles including retail wireless consultant, sales manager, store manager and most recently as retail area sales manager. In his new role he will oversee sales at the wireless carrier’s 49 corporate-owned locations throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He will be based at U.S. Cellular’s Customer Care Center in Waukesha.
“Jared is a proven leader with extensive experience in marketing, pricing and meeting customer needs,” said Eric Conlon, U.S. Cellular’s senior director of sales for the corporate channel. “Our focus at U.S. Cellular is to provide the best wireless experience for our customers through a high-quality network and the most knowledgeable associates in the industry. Jared is able to deliver on that for our customers in Wisconsin and northern Illinois.”
Blecha graduated from Chadron State College with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He will be relocating to the Milwaukee area as part of his new position. Blecha has regularly volunteered and was a committee member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa and he hopes to continue to be involved in Milwaukee.
