The app is intended to help chamber member businesses engage with their customers, whether they are targeting an end-use consumer or another business.

App features include the ability to search for businesses, their ads, price and locations. Advertising in the app is designed to be less obtrusive than standard banner ads and will leverage smartphone technology to target ads.

“These promotions will reach local consumers as they increasingly favor apps over web and mobile browsers,” said Carol White, Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive officer. “An app that places local businesses at the touch of the consumer will be a key driver for attracting new business for our members.”

The app release was timed to coincide with the chamber’s annual golf outing and was used to enhance the guest experience at the outing.

It was developed by MS Mobile, a chamber member in Brookfield. It is available for free on both Apple and Android devices.
