U.S. Cellular has named Andy Schlingman a director of sales for the company’s business channel. Schlingman is responsible for overseeing the business channel in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois to help ensure customers are equipped with wireless solutions that can simplify and enhance their business or government entity.
Schlingman has more than 20 years of wireless leadership experience. Prior to this position, he served as managing partner in business sales at Verizon, where he oversaw day-to-day operations for all strategic and small business sales functions within the Wisconsin market.
“Andy is a motivated sales and management leader with an extensive background and track record of success in the wireless industry,” said Eric Jagher, U.S. Cellular’s vice president of sales for the business channel. “At U.S. Cellular, we focus on providing the best wireless experience for our customers through a high-quality network and the most knowledgeable associates in the industry.”
Schlingman is a Wisconsin native who lives in Cedarburg area with his wife and three children. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics with a marketing emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has completed the business negotiations program at Harvard Business School. In his free time, Schlingman enjoys the great Wisconsin outdoors playing golf and skiing.
