Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., Milwaukee, announced Andrew J. Schlidt III has joined the firm as a shareholder. As a member of the corporate practice group, Schlidt will lead the firm’s technology law team. Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Schlidt was a partner at a large Midwestern law firm.
Schlidt has over 20 years of experience advising clients in technology law matters. Throughout his career, Schlidt has served as counsel to various technology companies including equipment manufacturers, software developers, SaaS providers, telecom carriers, ISPs, IT managed service providers, consultants, and vendors.
In collaboration with colleagues, Schlidt guides technology companies through all phases of growth, including due diligence in preparation for a company’s investment, acquisition or sale. In addition, he advises clients on complex IT procurement and sourcing transactions and works closely with clients on IT compliance planning in areas such as data privacy and security.
