BizTimes Media will showcase the leaders who keep Southeastern Wisconsin institutions of higher education at the top of their class — while making sure the region continues to have the talented workforce it needs to thrive. This feature is in BizTimes Milwaukee’s January 27, 2025, issue and will also be published online (Biztimes.com).

Organizations and individuals are invited to submit nominations that will help BizTimes determine this year’s honorees. We will recognize individuals for accomplishments in the past 12 to 18 months.

Nomination forms must be submitted by December 31, 2024, and ALL sections of the form must be completed for consideration.

INCLUDE:

• A high-resolution digital headshot (300 dpi minimum)
• A bio/nomination about your nominee (a minimum of 120 words -a maximum of up to 300)
• Do not include information that is subject to change by the publication/posting date or that you consider to be confidential.
• Consider including quotes from colleagues. All subjective statements must be attributed – or they will attribute them to the nominator. Be sure to describe the nominee’s specific areas of impact.

The final profiles will be created using only the information supplied in the nomination form, so include all relevant details. The BizTimes Milwaukee editorial staff will edit submitted information to meet editorial standards and a final word limit of 160-180 words.

Important criteria:

• Nominated leaders must work in education in the Southeastern Wisconsin area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Washington, Walworth, Jefferson and Sheboygan counties).
• Nominees must have worked in higher education for five or more years.
• Nominees should also participate in a professional organization and/or civic or community service initiatives.
• Nominees should have mentored or sponsored other professionals and/or performed pro bono work.

Note: We will accept up to three nominations per institution. Please fully complete all fields in the form and click submit.
