Bottoms Up with DevOps: An NRC Tech Briefing
DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). It aims to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery with high-quality software. DevOps is complementary to Agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from the Agile approach of breaking down components and batch sizes.
Many fundamental DevOps practices are inspired by other well-known practices as well, such as Lean and Deming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle and The Toyota Way. DevOps is a “bottom-up,” flexible practice, created by software engineers to meet software engineers’ needs.
Join New Resources Consulting as we, and a panel of experts, discuss the “bottom-up” approach and flexible practices that support software development and help you obtain company objectives. The event is free to attend; all are welcome to join us for an evening of networking and connecting around this shared topic.
