The Falk Group, Milwaukee, has announced that Cindy Kazan has joined the agency as executive vice president of client services.
Kazan brings more than 20 years of experience as a brand strategist and communications executive to the agency. In those years, she has helped launch startups, grow small businesses and reinvigorate larger, more established brands. She’s worked with clients in a variety of industries including B2B, non-profit, professional services, restaurant and hospitality, technology, healthcare, workforce development and retail. Kazan has extensive experience helping non-profits create and execute fund development and cause marketing strategies. Her non-profit experience includes Jewish Family Services, the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Before starting her own business, Communi-K, in 1992, Kazan served as Marketing Director for two leading Chicago-area law firms and as a strategic marketing consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. She holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
According to Susie Falk, president of The Falk Group, the addition of Kazan will help further the agency’s positioning as the agency of choice for non-profits and mission-driven for-profit organizations.
“Cindy’s deep expertise in strategic communications, including branding and story-telling, combined with her thorough understanding of non-profits and the role of stakeholder engagement are very valuable assets to the agency,” said Falk. “We are delighted to be working with Cindy.”
