Zizzo Group in the market for downtown office space

Zizzo Group Marketing + PR + New Media, which currently occupies about 12,000 square feet in the ASQ Center at 648 N. Plankinton Ave. in downtown Milwaukee is in the market for downtown office space, chief executive officer Anne Zizzo said.

The firm’s lease at the ASQ Center expires in January.

“We’re using this as an opportunity to take another look at what our options are here in downtown Milwaukee,” Zizzo said.

The firm likes the amenities in the ASQ Center, including the connection to the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel.

However, the firm’s current space is cramped and it would be difficult to accommodate additional growth. The firm has 40 employees.

“We’re at capacity,” Zizzo said. “We could probably squeeze a couple of cubicles in. That’s it.”

Zizzo Group is pursuing a couple of acquisition possibilities, which would increase the need for additional space, Zizzo said.

The firm has not determined how much space it needs, but its requirement could be up to 20,000 square feet, she said.

The firm will look for quality space with attractive amenities but most likely would not move to a tower, “although you never know,” Zizzo said. The ASQ Center remains an option of additional space can be found.
