Riverworks, Milwaukee, has named Ylonda Glover director of operations. Glover has more than 30 years of experience in managing complex human, organizational development and change management issues in both non-profit and for-profit sectors.
In her role as director of operations, she will oversee operations and programs with a primary focus on program development and implementation, staff development, budget management and various social enterprises.
Her leadership development, strategic planning and implementation process with entrepreneurs have won her numerous local and national awards, notably with the Milwaukee Urban Entrepreneurial Partnership Inc., 2008 North Star Award and the U.S. Small Business 2008 Small Business Champion Award.
Prior to this role, Glover was president and chief strategy officer for Tri-Success Management Institute Inc., a strategy management consulting firm. She also worked with Urban roots Inc., as executive director and the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee Inc., as an organizational development consultant manager.
A native of Milwaukee, Glover earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and Afro-American studies from Indiana University and a Master’s of Science degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University. Glover is a current PhD candidate at Benedictine University in the organizational development & change program.
