WSC to host Milwaukee-area job safety courses

The Wisconsin Safety Council will offer two Milwaukee-area job safety analysis and inspection courses this month.

On July 16, Job Safety Analysis will be offered at GE Healthcare, 3200 Grandview Blvd. in Waukesha. JSA is a method used to identify and control operating hazards and costs. The course will explain the process and how to implement it in a work environment.

The JSA course is $245 for WSC/Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce members and $345 for non-members. For more information or to register, visit wmc.org/events/job-safety-analysis-jsa.

On July 29, Safety Inspections will be offered at VJS Construction Services, W233 N2847 Roundy Circle West in Pewaukee. The course teaches evaluation methods to gauge the effectiveness of a safety program and tips for performing a safety inspection.
