The Opus Group began work this week for its Ivy on Fourteenth project at 1400 W. Wells St. near the Marquette University campus.
Ivy on Fourteenth will be a six-story, 80-unit, 165-bed private student housing development with 7,500 square feet of ground floor retail space, which will include a Subway restaurant.
Opus Development Company, L.L.C. is the developer, and Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will manage the design and construction of the building. Korb Tredo Architects is the project architect. Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC will own the project.
This week demolition work began for the building located at the site that was formerly occupied by Kampus Foods, Sweeny’s Books and a Subway restaurant.
