M&I extends foreclosure moratorium again

M&I has extended its foreclosure moratorium for another three months through the end of December. The bank initiated the moratorium on Dec. 18, 2008 as part of its Homeowner Assistance Program.

The moratorium applies to all owner-occupied residential loans for customers who agree to work in good faith to reach a repayment agreement with the bank, and applies to loans in all of M&I’s markets.

M&I’s Homeowner Assistance Program also has programs for distressed homeowners, including refinancing options, term extensions and rate reductions to reduce monthly payments.
