Windermere forms strategic alliance with SCS Financial

Windermere Wealth Advisors LLC in Milwaukee has formed a strategic alliance with independent investment and wealth management firm SCS Financial Services LLC of Boston.

SCS was selected after a national search. It has about $8.2 billion in assets and is aligned with Windermere’s conflict free, client-focused business practices, said Ken Evason, CEO and chief investment officer at Windermere.
“Increasingly, clients recognize that traditional portfolios are not equipped to weather periods of high and often unexpected volatility in the financial markets,” said Pam Evason, Windermere’s managing director. “Our clients will now benefit from a strategic financial planning process and a broadened investment offering, the combination of which will work to create ‘all weather’ portfolios that preserve capital during difficult markets and capture upside potential during favorable market environments.”
Windermere will adopt SCS’ financial planning tools and strategies while working with the firm’s experienced team on both traditional and alternative asset classes.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with this new strategic alliance and we look forward to working with the team at Windermere in bringing this sophisticated service offering to the Wisconsin marketplace,” said Pete Matoon, CEO of SCS.
