WCTC to host exporting event

Waukesha County Technical College will host “The New Global Reality – Exporting for Growth” on Thursday, April 18, starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Center for Business Performance Solutions, 800 Main Street, Pewaukee.

The free breakfast will help leaders expand their companies’ exporting opportunities. Since 95 percent of consumers are outside the United States, manufacturers can learn to tap into expanding global markets.

Roxanne Baumann, director of global engagement for the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership, will provide insight from more than 20 years of experience in international sales and export stategy.

Katrina Goetz, controller at TLX Technologies in Waukesha, will discuss her development of the company’s successful export expansion strategy.
