Anna Horejs, a senior at Wauwatosa East High School, is currently undergoing physical therapy, but may never fully recover.

The event will be at Cranky Al’s at 6901 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 1. The orchestra and restaurant will donate 20 percent of pizza sales, all proceeds from a silent auction and on-site donations as well as all tips to Cranky Al’s employees will be donated to Horejs’ family to help pay for her treatment and therapy.

“I’m so proud of how these students stepped forward to organize this event themselves to help a classmate,” said Wauwatosa east Orchestra Director Jeff Sturgeon. “They’ve worked very hard and the community has really stepped up to support this concert.”
