Waukesha State Bank names Rupple Lowe director

Waukesha-based Waukesha State Bank has appointed Jody Rupple Lowe to its board of directors.

Rupple Lowe, a communications professional who focuses on investor communications for financial services companies, public relations and investor relations, is the president and managing director of The Lowe Group. She founded the firm in 2002.

Before launching The Lowe Group, Rupple Lowe spent 16 years as an investment advisor to the Strong Funds at Strong Financial Corp.
Lowe worked as a part-time teller at Waukesha State Bank in high school and college, while managing the bank’s Rent-A-Kid student odd job service. Her father, Keith Ripple, worked at the bank for 37 years and retired in 1994 as vice president and manager of commercial lending.

She also serves on the boards of the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wauwatosa Plan Commission, the United Performing Arts Fund Campaign Cabinet, Tempo Milwaukee, Milwaukee College Prep and the Wauwatosa Public Library Foundation.

“We’re happy to welcome Jody to the Waukesha State Bank family as part of our board of directors,” said Ty R. Taylor, president and chief executive officer. “She not only brings nearly 30 years of professional experience in financial communications, but she brings a wealth of knowledge about Waukesha State Bank, our community and our customers.”
