WaterStone Bank has opened its new branch at 17495 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield.
The branch, which opened in early January, will host a five-day grand opening celebration from Jan. 17 to Jan. 22. Giveaways will include a ski and snowboard package and gift cards to popular restaurants and businesses. The branch will also offer grand opening specials.
Community President Laura Merchle will manage the branch. She has eight years of retail banking experience at WaterStone, most recently as lead relationship banker. Merchle holds a bachelor’s in communication design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
This is Wauwatosa-based WaterStone’s ninth Milwaukee-area branch. It also has a branch in Maple Grove, Minn.
“We are excited to enter the Brookfield market as we expand our footprint in Southeastern Wisconsin,” said Doug Gordon, president and chief executive officer of WaterStone Bank. “Laura and her team are eager to serve the financial needs of the community.”
