WaterStone Bank names regional managers

Wauwatosa-based WaterStone Bank has named Wendy Rice and Erin McCarthy as its first regional managers.

Rice and McCarthy currently serve as community presidents, and will continue those responsibilities, but will now also oversee their respective regions.

Rice will manage the region that includes Oak Creek, West Allis, Franklin, Germantown and the Greenfield branch that is scheduled to open this summer. She has worked at WaterStone for 18 years, and has served as community manager at the Oak Creek branch since 2011. Rice previously served as Waukesha branch manager and has also been involved in WaterStone’s data processing conversion to FIS and led the bank’s conversion to Branch Capture.

McCarthy, who has served as community president of the Wauwatosa branch since 2005, will now oversee WaterStone’s Wauwatosa, Waukesha, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee and Brookfield branches. She has 16 years of banking experience, and joined WaterStone in 2004 as an IRA manager.

“Wendy and Erin have not only been exceptional managers of our two largest branches, but have also been strong contributors to the community,” said Doug Gordon, president and chief executive officer of WaterStone Bank. “We look forward to them working with our community presidents to enhance our customer experience.”
