Walmart has completed another Wisconsin store remodeling project.
The company’s Greenfield Supercenter, located at 10600 W. Layton Ave., was back up and running on Friday after renovations that added its free curb-side grocery pickup service and a pickup tower.
Pickup towers are 16-feet-tall and function like high-tech vending machines, capable of fulfilling a customer’s online order in less than a minute, Walmart said.
The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer is in the midst of an estimated $60.9 million effort to remodel 11 stores in Wisconsin this year. Seven of those stores have now been updated with new “customer-focused innovations.”
