Waldren out as CEO of Hudson

William Waldren has stepped down from his position as chief executive officer of the Hudson Business Lounge in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.

Waldren, who founded the Hudson and launched it in October 2012, officially exited his role last week, said Barbara DeMeulenaere, general manager of the Hudson.

Waldren has largely been the visionary behind the Hudson, which functions as a co-working office space for professionals who need a touchdown location in downtown Milwaukee.

While Waldren will no longer be involved with the day-to-day operations of the office space, he will continue to be a force in its business development and growth, DeMeulenaere said.

Waldren also will remain one of the space’s 15 investors funding its growth.

“He’s the visionary,” DeMeulenaere said. “We’re the operations.”

Waldren plans to take time to travel as he transitions out of his leadership role, according to DeMeulenaere.

The Hudson is located at 310 E. Buffalo St.
