V&L Tool to hire 25

Waukesha-based V&L Tool Inc. plans to create as many as 25 new jobs to meet current demand for its products and services. It held a two-day job fair last week and may hold a second job fair/open house in the coming weeks.

“We have experienced tremendous growth since we acquired V&L,” said Kevin Seiberlich, V&L’s new president and chief executive officer. “The increased demand for our services means we’re creating jobs for great professionals in the Waukesha area.”

V&L, which offers advanced manufacturing and complex assemblies, was acquired in November by Seiberlich, a Milwaukee business executive, and Hamilton Henry Capital. It currently employs approximately 65 employees.

V&L Tool is offering signing bonuses of up to $1,000, based on demonstrated experience and work performance. In addition to machinists, the company is recruiting:

• Quality engineers with experience in CNC machining methods and assembly processes, as well as CMM programming with PC-DMIS software;
• Manufacturing engineers with project management, fixture design and CNC programming experience;
• Production engineers with a strong background in CNC manufacturing technology; and
• Welders with experience with MIG, TIG and flux core equipment for part-time positions.

“We’re proud to offer a highly-competitive wage, great benefits and the chance to work with some of the very best machinists in the country,” said Jenny Schlut, human resources manager.

“We’re actively recruiting experienced CNC set-up operators, particularly those who have turning and machining center experience. The right people will contribute immediately while seizing the opportunity to learn from our existing team.”

V&L has a 150,000-square-foot main facility with CNC manufacturing and assembly capabilities. It primarily serves the advanced medical equipment, power generation, manufacturing, hydraulics and agriculture industries.
