Viking Packaging to build new HQ in Oostburg

Viking Packaging Technologies, a manufacturer of packaging equipment, is building a new corporate headquarters in Oostburg.

The company will move from its current 13,000-square-foot headquarters in Sheboygan Falls to a new 35,000-square-foot building that is under construction in a business park at Highway AA and I-43 in Oostburg.

The company started in 2004 and four years ago only had four employees, said owner and chief financial officer R.C. Huhn. Today the company has 24 employees and plans to add another 10 during the next two years, he said.

“Our industry has been fairly flat, but we’re taking market share,” Huhn said. “I think we’re offering a quality product at a competitive price.”
