Vangard Group moves office downtown

Vangard Group, along with Vangard Development Group LLC and Vangard Construction LLC, recently moved its headquarters from 1200 W. North Ave., Milwaukee, to the Empire Building at 710 N. Plankinton Ave. in downtown Milwaukee.

Vangard had 1,000 square feet of space on North Avenue and now has 3,000 square feet of space in the new downtown office. The company now occupies the top floor of the Empire Building.

The building is owned by Zilber Ltd., which has its headquarters in the building.

Vangard president Kalan Haywood said the firm is growing and needed more office space. He also wanted to be closer to some of the downtown area projects that the firm is working on.

In addition, Vangard Mechanical LLC recently moved its entire operations to 5420 W. Electric Ave. in West Allis.

“I am very energized about all of the companies,” said Syvil Shelbourne, project development manager of Vangard Development Group. “Our new offices have better positioned us to strategically attack projects that we have in the pipeline, as well as others we have in our sight.”
