UW-Whitewater College of Business and Economics

The UW-Whitewater College of Business and Economics was recognized for its Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management at the 36th annual LEAD Awards. In the Degree Program with Emphasis on HR category, 150 programs were nominated and the top 15 were ranked. UW-Whitewater’s program placed third.

The HRM major includes 24 credits of courses aligning with the standards of the Society for Human Resource Management. All students must complete a capstone course and create an electronic portfolio.

“It is evident the competency-based curriculum, capstone course and e-portfolio prepare students to transition successfully from college to career,” Professor Jon Werner said.

Human resource management is one of 14 majors available from the UW-Whitewater College of Business and Economics.
