United Way and Milwaukee Bucks hold volunteer day of action

The United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s Emerging Leaders were recently joined by members of the Milwaukee Bucks for a one-day community service project at YWCA’s Transitional Housing Facility.

Volunteers participated in a variety of clean up projects including gardening, planting, redecorating famiy units, painting and providing resume and job assistance training and coaching for parents and children. Milwaukee Bucks players Tobias Harris and Jon Leuer, along with team mascot, Bango, also participated.
