Tosa Crowne Plaza hotel tops off

Construction of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Wauwatosa is progressing. A topping-off ceremony will be held for the project on Thursday.

Construction of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Wauwatosa is progressing. A topping-off ceremony will be held for the project at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 21. KL Hotel LLC, a partnership of Kaloti Enterprises Inc. and Lane Hospitality LLC, is developing the eight-story, 198-room hotel at 10499 Innovation Drive, at the southeast corner of Mayfair Road and Watertown Plank Road, in the Milwaukee County Research Park. The 127,000-square-foot hotel will include a full-service restaurant and more than 8,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. The general contractor for the $27 million project is M.A. Mortenson Co., and the architect is Torke, Wirth, Pujara Ltd. The hotel is expected to open in February.
