Tim Sullivan, the former CEO of REV Group, Gardner Denver and Bucyrus International, is donating $1 million to Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha to support the school’s plans to expand by purchasing the Infinity Fields Baseball Park complex in Waukesha. The property acquisition is expected to close by the end of this month.

Infinity Fields is located at W234 S3555 Les Paul Parkway in Waukesha, about 2.5 miles south of Catholic Memorial’s main campus at 601 E. College Ave. The 36-acre Infinity Fields property has several baseball and softball fields and a 51,000-square-foot indoor athletic facility. Catholic Memorial is planning upgrades to the property, which will provide its teams with fields for baseball, softball and soccer. The property will also provide a new resource to the school’s science program with eight acres of the Miishkooki Wetlands.

The indoor facility on the property, currently home to NX Level Sports Performance, consists of an athletic facility that includes full locker rooms and showers, a practice football turf field, a full-size basketball court that also serves as two full-sized volleyball courts, a weight room space, and sand pits, batting, pitching and golf cages.

Sullivan is a Catholic Memorial alumnus who graduated in 1971. He participated in numerous extracurriculars during high school including football, basketball and track.

“We are pleased to participate in CMH’s expansion of its athletic facilities with the purchase of the Infinity Sports complex,” Sullivan said. “Success in life is built on a solid foundation in academics, but also, in skills learned while participating in athletics. Sports provide the basis for learning: dedication; teamwork; courage; competition; perseverance, and figuring out how to win, all attributes critical in achieving life’s goals. We hope this expansion further enhances CMH’s ability to teach young adults the skills necessary to be successful.”

“This campus expansion project positions CMH for the long term,” said Donna Bembenek, president of the school. “Tim’s gift sets a challenge for the crusader community to ensure we can deliver on this exciting opportunity for students today and tomorrow. We are eternally grateful for his leadership and for his generosity.”
