The Wellness Network acquires HealthStyle Press

Waukesha television company The Wellness Network has acquired Germantown health guide publisher HealthStyle Press.

Milwaukee M&A advisory firm Pentvia Partners advised the shareholders of HealthStyle Press in the transaction.
HealthStyle Press publishes small health education booklets, called American Health Guides, for the public health sector, managed care organizations and aging health populations.
“Over the last 20 years, we’ve served health organizations in all 50 states and many government agencies,” said Jim Kahl, founder and president of HealthStyle Press. “We’re looking forward to integrating The Wellness Network’s interactive video technology and expanding our team so we can take HealthStyle Press to the next level.”
The Wellness Network, a portfolio company of Interactivation in New York, owns in-hospital TV networks the Patient Channel and The Newborn Channel.
“Beyond the 20 million patients we reach every year through our hospital TV channels, we will now reach millions more people in their homes and health clinics with easy-to-read printed materials,” said Matthew Davidge, president of The Wellness Network.
