The REEF, a multifamily housing development by Wangard Partners Inc. in Wauwatosa will open Oct. 2. The 180 unit building at 1215 N. 62nd St., contains four, 18-unit buildings with attached garages and two four-story buildings. The development also features a clubhouse with fully equipped gourmet kitchen, two-sided fireplace and pool; a 24-hour Fitness Center; a dog park and detached garages.
The 9.4-acre site was previously occupied by Western Metal. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. provided a $700,000 grant for brownfield cleanup and the City of Wauwatosa provided $1.1 million in tax incremental financing for the project.
Open house tours will be held Oct. 3 and 4.
