Tailored Label Products acquires DePere screen printing business

Deal expands capabilities, regional footprint

Menomonee Falls-based Tailored Label Products Inc. has acquired DePere-based Jaymar Screen Printers, the companies announced Thursday.

The deal will help Tailored Label Products, a manufacturer of engineered labels and die cut adhesives, strengthen its regional footprint and expand its capabilities.

“Our companies already share many customers and business partners, and we intend to enhance and expand these essential relationships. As a result of their added capabilities, our customers will now have access to an extraordinary portfolio of high performance labels and advanced die cut adhesive solutions,” said Jeff Kerlin, president and chief executive officer of TLP.

Jaymar was founded in 1981 and manufactures high-performance screen-printed products.

“I am happy to see the company my dad, sister, and I started over 35 years ago join forces with another family-owned and family-focused company that shares our values and commitment to service,” said Tracy Mettelka, president of Jaymar. “I’m excited and relieved to see our long-term customers being cared for by a world class organization.”

Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
