Milwaukee-based Svnicki Association Management Inc. has been renamed Association Resource Center or ARC after part-owner Jennifer Rzepka bought the rest of the business from founder Jane Svinicki, the company announced recently. Rzepka, who has worked more than 20 years at SAMI, owned 50% of the company for 5 years before purchasing the remainder from Svinicki earlier this year. ARC is an association management company that provides management, administrative services, staffing and office technology to 20 state and national non-profit associations. The company has 12 employees and one location at 6737 W. Washington St. in Milwaukee. “It’s thrilling to see the re-invigorated engagement and buy-in as I continue making changes, empowering the incredibly talented management team and engaging staff members at all levels of the company,” Rzepka said. "I am honored to carry this company into the future and keep our strong legacy alive of exceptional people providing exceptional services to our clients." The company has already undergone several changes since the buyout and rebrand. The office layout has changed to incorporate a more flexible and collaborative environment and employees were given expanded opportunities for remote work, Rzepka said. The ARC name was changed and company logo was redesigned to reflect the "three arcs" that form a circle, or the company, Rzepka said. In her mind, those three arcs consisted of company, staff and clients, which are the three most important components of ARC. “I needed something visual to continue to inspire me on a day-to-day basis,” Rzepka said. “To find meaning in what I do to better myself, this company and the people and clients surrounding me and the industry as a whole.”
