SVA donates 1,400 jars of peanut butter to Hunger Task Force

Organizations:

SVA Professional Services has donated 1,400 jars of peanut butter to Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee.

The company, which offers a number of professional services including accounting, donated a jar of peanut butter for each tax return filed from January 1 until the April 15 tax return filing deadline.

The Hunger Task Force, a nonprofit that works to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need, encourages donations of peanut butter because it is a shelf stable item that offers more than 30 essential nutrients and can be eaten any time of day.

“Giving back to our community has always been and always will be important for SVA and our employees. Each year we support a number of local organizations and we are happy to support The Hunger Task Force,” said Barb Ecklond, principal-in-charge of the Brookfield office. “Helping provide nutritious meals is always important for families in need. We appreciate all that The Hunger Task Force does to help our community and being a partner with them is truly rewarding for us.”

Madison-based SVA has more than 400 employees, and offices in Brookfield, Appleton and Rockford, Ill. The Brookfield office made a video of its donation, which can be viewed here.
