Visitors to Summerfest this year can take advantage of the Summerfest Fundraising Program that allows them to select a local non-profit organization to receive a portion of the proceeds from their ticket purchase. More than 45 nonprofits are participating in the program.
Everyone who purchases tickets through the Summerfest Fundraising Program is entered to win Marcus Amphitheater tickets to see Sugarland, Peter Gabriel or Kanye West, as well as cash prizes totaling $2500, $1500 or $1000.
General Admission tickets are $15 and Weekday tickets $8. As part of the program, Summerfest will donate $3 for every General Admission ticket purchased and $2 from every Weekday ticket purchased to the selected non-profit. Fest-goers can save time and help support their favorite non-profit by purchasing General Admission tickets at Summerfest.com/fundraising. The last day to purchase tickets to help support the Summerfest Fundraising Program is June 10. Summerfest 2011 will take place June 29 through July 3 and July 5 through July 10 from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
