Sullivan and Vukmir to debate at Tosa West

    Democratic State Sen. Jim Sullivan and Republican challenger Rep. Leah Vukmir will debate the issues at Wauwatosa West High School auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.
     The debate between the two Senate 5th District candidates will be being hosted by the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce. Partners in presenting the event include the Waukesha Business Alliance, the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, the Milwaukee Press Club, Biz Times Media, WisPolitics.com and WisBusiness.com.
    "This state senate district is central to a lot of economic development in the coming years,” said Meg McKenna, executive director of the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce. "We’re so pleased that Sen. Sullivan and Rep. Vukmir have accepted our collaborative invitation to address the issues at a venue centrally located within the senate district lines.”
    Admission to the event is free and open to the public. McKenna said the participating chambers will have ticket information next week.
