Stockhausen joins HighTower

Don Stockhausen has joined HighTower Palm Desert, a financial advisory firm in Palm Desert, Calif. He will travel back and forth and continue to serve his clients in Milwaukee.

“We operate everywhere in terms of how we do our practice,” said Rob Schein, partner and managing director. “Our business is virtually anywhere, so there’s no specific target for him in terms of geographic scope.”

HighTower offers comprehensive retirement planning, income planning, estate planning, trans-generational wealth and other services for high net worth clients.

The addition of Stockhausen will give HighTower Palm Desert a larger presence in the Milwaukee market, Schein said.

“One of the reasons we’re really encouraged about Milwaukee is there is some great opportunity there,” he said. “At this point in time, our presence there provides a great opportunity to serve that community.”
Chicago-based HighTower Advisors LLC has 253 employees.
