STEVENS POINT – Company plans to renovate historic building downtown

    A local business has big plans to transform a historic building into a vibrant space in downtown Stevens Point.

    DB Green, a property development business, recently purchased the building at 1055 Main Street, which dates back to 1905 and was most recently used by Jim Laabs Music. On Monday, co-owner Andrew Green will appear before the city’s plan commission for a public hearing on a request for a conditional use permit to build three luxury apartments on the second floor.
