St. Camillus names new CEO

St. Camillus, a retirement community located at 10101 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Wauwatosa, has promoted its chief operating officer, Kevin Schwab, to chief executive officer.

Schwab, a certified public accountant and licensed nursing home administrator in Wisconsin, has been with St. Camillus since 2005. before becoming COO, Schwab served as the organization’s chief financial officer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Schwab took over the new role on Oct. 26.

“Few companies have a foundation as strong and inspiring as the one given to us by our patron and founder, St. Camillus de Lellis,” Schwab said in a statement. “We are a community working together, both residents and employees. Let’s build on this foundation together.”
