Sprecher Brewing Company of Glendale recently partnered with the George Washington Stein Club to relaunch its "Treats for Troops" program.
The program gives people the opportunity to send 12-packs of Sprecher gourmet soda to U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"The nice thing about this is that you can buy the soda and just send it to the troops stationed there, or you can personalize the gift for a certain soldier stationed in a specific area," said Anne Sprecher, spokeswoman for the company.
Individuals also can choose to put custom labels on the soda for an additional cost, but regular 12-packs can be purchased and shipped for $25.
"This is perfect for the holidays, but this is a program we hope to keep going until the troops come home," Sprecher said.
