Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC notified the state Department of Workforce Development this week that it plans to close the Piggly Wiggly store at 3124 S. Business Dr. in Sheboygan.
The store will close on Sept. 1, which will put 108 employees out of work.
The employees are represented by the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union Local No. 1473, located in Wauwatosa.
Piggly Wiggly has one other store in Sheboygan, located at 2905 N. 15th St., on the city’s north side.
