Software firm opens Brookfield office

Bleum Inc. has opened a new software development center at 200 S. Executive Drive in Brookfield.

The Shanghai-based software development and information technology firm, which also has locations in Chengdu, China; London; New York City; and Englewood, Colo., will use the 800-square-foot Milwaukee location to expand its geographic reach.

The Brookfield location will be used for software development, testing, systems integration and outcomes-based managed services. Bleum will target independent software vendors, supply chain management, e-commerce platforms, web application security, mobile app development and infrastructure services.

“The new Milwaukee development facility will provide local, regional and North American clients with access to the industry’s top IT talent, as well as provide the operational agility found with onshore development teams,” said Eric Rongley, chief executive officer and founder of Bleum. “We match our delivery teams to our client’s specific requirements with the ability to balance onshore, onsite or offshore resources. We are proud to be leveraging Bleum’s success to date as an investment in the competitiveness of America’s world class talent pool and high quality service capabilities. We selected Milwaukee specifically because of its well-established IT talent pool, local government support, and longstanding manufacturing synergies with Bleum’s expertise in supply chain management and e-commerce systems development.”
