Signal 88 Security hiring 150 employees in Milwaukee

Franchise plans to grow to as many as 600 employees

Signal 88 Security is hiring 150 employees in Milwaukee to meet demand for its services.

The Milwaukee Signal 88 franchise was launched this summer by Andy Krueger and Mike Chappell.

In most cases, Signal 88 has signed on for 24/7/365 security services. As a result, Signal 88 is adding 150 new security officers to meet those contracts’ requirements. Interviews are currently underway, and the company will begin hiring for the roles in January.

“All the places that have current contracts, we’re also trying to retain as many guards as we can from those contracts,” Chappell said. “But whenever you switch security companies, usually they want to bring in a fresh force.”

By the end of 2018, Signal 88 plans to have 500 to 600 employees in the Milwaukee market, Chappell said. The company currently has one contract in operation, and about 20 employees fulfilling it.

“We provide static guards or guards that are in a set location. We also are trying to expand our patrols. We do vehicle patrols, we do concierge service, we do a lot of different services,” Chappell said.
