Not too long ago, the idea that Wisconsin could become a haven for major championship golf was about as likely as Tiger Woods being outplayed by club pros.
But Wisconsin is indeed a major golf destination, thanks to Herb Kohler’s vision and Pete Dye’s brilliant artistry that created a masterpiece on the shores of Lake Michigan nearly 20 years ago.
