Serigraph may move operations into former Amity Leather building

West Bend-based Serigraph Corp. is considering plans to lease the 270,000-square-foot former Amity Leather building at 820 E. Washington St., West Bend, according to sources.
Allenton-based Kreilkamp Trucking is working on a deal to purchase the building and then lease it to Serigraph.
The building is owned by Tandy Brands, which closed the Amity Leather operation in November of 2007. The building has been vacant and for sale since then.
Serigraph plans to consolidate three operations for its Specialty Division, two located in West Bend and one in Port Washington, into the former Amity Leather building. The Specialty Division prints point-of-purchase materials for national retailers. About 160 people would work at the facility.
