Senior Housing development planned in Pleasant Prairie

Chicago-based Senior Lifestyle Corp. plans to build a two-phase, 162-unit senior housing development on the south side of Prairie Ridge Boulevard, east of 97th Court in Pleasant Prairie.

The Pleasant Prairie Plan Commissiona and Village Board this week approved a conceptual plan for the project.

The first phase of the project will consist of a three-story building with 96 senior living units, including memory care and assisted living.

The second phase of the project will be a 66-unit senior housing facility with underground parking.

Construction is expected to begin in the summer or fall.
