Milwaukee-based nonprofit SHARP Literacy recently hosted its Unwrapped Waukesha fundraiser at the Wisconsin Brewing Co. Park in Oconomowoc. The event, which showcases a variety of dishes created by area chefs using McDonald’s ingredients, drew nearly 180 people and raised a total of $32,000 to support the delivery of SHARP’s STEAM-based literacy program to hundreds of urban elementary students in five Waukesha-area schools.
